Who knew Jeff Spicoli was such a thinker?? Caught the excellent Real Time with Bill Maher the other night on HBO and this episode blew me away, specifically the intellectual prowess of Mr. Penn. I understand he's become quite the activist in recent years and watching him on this show I was extremely impressed at his reasoning and balls. I'm all for people who have the courage to speak out, we need more of it.

You should check out the edition of Inside The Actors Studio with Penn. Plimpton somehow inquires about his social habits or the part scene in Hollywood. Penn shoots back something along the lines that he doesn't get into that scene all that much, and that if he wanted to party, he'd just lock himself up in a hotel room with some hookers and an 8-ball. Dayum. Sean is pretty blunt. No frills.
